CONTENT OF A PROPERTY HAZARD REPORT

When you are purchasing a property, it always pays to know the potential risks. As home owners we spend a lot of time and money protecting and maintaining our homes. However we are often blissfully unaware of what hazards our homes may be exposed to in relation to the ground upon which they are built or the surrounding area. Are you aware of the potential hazards relative to your home and how these could cause potential harm to your home should an event such as an earthquake or landslide occur?

The Hazard reports give you an indication of what these hazards might be for a property. You can use this Hazard report in combination with other helpful information provided on the PropertyInsight website or by your local council.

The Hazard report contains information from different sources and the availability of information is region specific. Data may not exist for all hazards and availability also depends on the willingness of regional and local councils to make hazard information available. The hazards available for your area are shown in the table below.
